Ozeaneum in Stralsund

Getting there:
From Warnowo 78, head southwest on provincial road 102 toward Międzyzdroje. Merge onto national road 3 (E65) heading south toward Świnoujście. After crossing the border at Garz, follow the B110 toward Anklam, then take the B109 north to Stralsund.

Distance & Duration:
Approx. 180 km, around 2 hours and 15 minutes by car.
Why visit? Stralsund is home to one of the largest aquariums in the world – the Ozeaneum. Dive into fascinating exhibitions showcasing the marine life of the Baltic Sea and other global oceans.

July & August: Extended hours until 7:00 PM

Historical-Technical Museum in Peenemünde

Coordinates: 54°8’16.81” N, 13°46’10.359” E

How to get there:
From Warnowo 78, head southwest on road 102 toward Międzyzdroje. Then turn north onto road 3 (E65) toward Świnoujście. After crossing the border at Garz, follow the B110 toward Anklam, then take road L264 north directly to Peenemünde.

Distance & Duration:
Approx. 100 km, around 1 hour and 15 minutes by car.

Why visit? Once a top-secret rocket research facility, Peenemünde is where the V-1 and V-2 rockets were developed. Today, it houses the Historical-Technical Museum, offering a powerful look into the history of military technology and space exploration.
